FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT AREAS DO YOU TRAVEL?
I travel most of Bexar Countyl like:
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE MASSAGE?
A session includes:
Coconut oil or scent-free lotion
Clients are required to provide their own linens. One fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and a pillow case (Any size).
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY SESSION?
It depends. A Swedish massage you can expect to feel light headed getting off the massage table and a general sense of stress relief. A Deep Tissue Massage and Trigger Point Therapy, however, is more rigorous work. You may feel some soreness that can last up to a three days. Follow after-care instructions.
CAN A MINOR RECEIVE A MASSAGE?
WHY DO I FEEL SORE?
Post massage soreness sets in after a rigorous session due to breaking down adhesion, knots and holding patterns to restore muscle condition to a functional state. Muscle groups and tissue can get caught in a twist often requiring firm pressure to be applied during a massage treatment to coax them back into a relaxed, untwisted state. Usually the more chronic or stubborn the condition is the more depth needed to challenge it to get it moving.
It is especially common if it is your first time or if it has been a while since your last session.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A MASSAGE?
It varies from person to person. It mostly comes down to your wellness goals.
DO YOU HELP TREAT TERMINAL OR CHRONIC CONDITIONS?
It depends on the illness and the severity. Some conditions might require approval from your primary care provider.
It is important to note that massage is a palliative treatment, meaning that it helps relieve some symptoms from an underlying condition such as anxiety, depression or pain but it does not cure any condition. As such, it should be use as a complementary alternative to your health regimen.
IS DRAPING REQUIRED?
DO YOU TAKE CASH OR CARD?
I take either. I use Paypal for card transactions. No account with Paypal is needed.
